The Giving Tree

Once upon a time, there lived a big mango tree. A little boy loved to come and play around it everyday. He climbed to the tree top, ate the mangoes, took a nap under the shadow… He loved the tree and the tree loved to play with him. Time went by, The little boy grew, and he no longer played around the tree.

One day, the boy came back to the tree with a sad look on his face. “Come and play with me,” the tree asked the boy. “I am no longer a kid, I don’t play around trees anymore.” The boy replied, “I want toys. I need money to buy them.” “Sorry, I don’t have money… but you can pick all my mangoes and sell them so you will have money.” The boy was so excited. He picked all the mangoes on the tree and left happily. The boy didn’t come back. The tree was sad.

One day, the boy grown into a man returned. The tree was so excited. “Come and play with me,” the tree said. “I don’t have time to play. I have to work for my family. We need a house for shelter. Can you help me?” “Sorry, I don’t have a house, but you can chop off my branches to build your house.” So the man cut all the branches off the tree and left happily. The tree was glad to see him happy but the boy didn’t come back afterward. The tree was again lonely and sad.

One hot summer day, the man returned and the tree was delighted. “Come and play with me!” The tree said. “I am sad and getting old. I want to go sailing to relax myself. Can you give me a boat?” “Use my trunk to build your boat. You can sail far away and be happy.” So the man cut the tree trunk to make a boat. He went sailing and didn’t come back for a long time.

Finally, the man returned after he had been gone for so many years. “Sorry, my boy, but I don’t have anything for you anymore. No more mangoes to give you.” The tree said. “I don’t have teeth to bite,” the man replied. “No more trunk for you to climb on.” “I am too old for that now,” the man said.

“I really can’t give you anything, the only thing left is my dying roots,” the tree said with sadness. “I don’t need much now, just a place to rest. I am tired after all these years,” the man replied. “Good! Old tree roots are the best place to lean on and rest. Come sit down with me and rest.” The boy sat down and the tree was glad and smiled.

Lesson from the story:

The tree in the story represents our parents. When we are young, we love to play with them. When we grow up, we leave them and only come back when we need help. Parents sacrifice their lives for us. Never Forget their sacrifices. Give them Love and Care before its too late.

The Killer Bride

Isang napakagandang umaga ang bumungad kay Carmen. Alam niya na ito ang araw na hinihintay niya. Ang araw ng pag-iisang dibdib nila ng kanyang sinisinta. Hindi na siya makapaghintay na maikasal sa taong kanyang inaasam-asam at iyon ay walang iba kundi si Eduardo. Ito man ang isa sa pinakamasayang araw ng kanyang buhay bagkos ito rin ang pinakamalungkot dahil kasalukuyang nakaburol ang kanyang minamahal na kapatid na si carmina.

“Ma, ang sakit na maglakad papunta sa altar habang ang aking kapatid ay nakahimlay at pinagbuburulan.”

“Anak, alam ko na magiging masaya ang kambal mo para sa’yo .” Tugon ng ina.
Napabuntong hininga na lamang si carmen habang naglalakad papunta sa altar habang mangiyak-ngiyak at nakatingin kay Eduardo.

Imbes na hawakan ni Eduardo ang kanyang mga kamay, Malakas na sampal ang tinamo nito mula sa lalaki.

“walang hiya ka Carmina, paano mo nagawang patayin ang sarili mong kapatid at magpanggap bilang siya?” sigaw ng lalaki habang may luhang nangingilid sa mga mata nito.

“Ako to si Carmen. Hindi ko alam ang sinasabi mo?” hindi ko kayang patayin ang sarili kong kapatid.” Tugon ng bride.
“Eh ano itong kwintas na’to? Di’ba sa’yo ito? Ito yung hawak ni carmen ng matagpuan siyang patay.”

*Ngumiti na lamang ang bride*

“Naalala mo yung sabado ng gabi? Noong pumasok ka sa kwarto, ako yung hinalikan mo. Sinukat ko yung gown ni carmen at napagkamalan mong ako ay siya. Yun ang nag-udyok sa ‘kin na patayin si carmen dahil naisip ko na posibleng maging ako siya. Simula pa ng una, laging siya na lang ang magaling, maganda, pati yung taong mahal ko siya ang gusto. Dapat lang na mamatay siya. At ngayon wala na siya ,Malaya ko ng makukuha lahat ng gusto ko, lahat ng bagay na meron siya.” Sabi ng carmina.

*malakas na sampal ang binigay ng kanyang ina sa kanya.*

“Walang hiya ka talaga carmina, paano mo nagawa yan sa sarili mong kapatid. Kung inaakala mo na magiging ikaw siya, aba’y nagkakamali ka. Makukulong ka.” Sigaw ng ina habang humahagulgol ng iyak.

Dumating ang mga pulis at pinusasan si carmina. Habang papalabas ng simbahan, ang mga tao ay nagsisigawan ng “Ikulong, ikulong, ang killer bride!”
Namumutawi ang galit kay carmina lalo na noong nakulong ito. Wala ni isa sa mga kamag-anak nito ang bumibisita sa kanya. Ang nasa isip ng carmina ay tinalikuran na siya ng mundo kaya imbes na magbago ay mas lalo na siyang naging masama. Nag-iisip ito ng paraan para makawala sa impyernong kinalulugaran niya. Nagpanggap itong wala sa katinuan marahil diyan naman siya magaling ang magpanggap. Dahil rito ay inilipat siya sa isang pribadong mental hospital. Pero mas lalong naging Malala ang sitwasyon niya rito.

Nagkaroon ng hindi inaasahang aksidente. Nasunog ang mental hospital kung saan naroon si carmina. At bago ito mamatay isinumpa niya na lahat ng bride ay mamatay.
Simula noong araw na nagbitaw ng sumpa si Carmina, lahat ng bride sa lugar na iyon ay kung hindi namamatay, minsan nawawala at hindi na Nakita pang muli.

Self-Realizations in Life

“Everything in this world are full of realizations.”Ito lang naman ang mga kakak at realization ko in sa napakakulay at puno ng karanasan kong buhay.

Realization 1:Maging masungit man o mabait sa students, Maging friendly or Enemy ka man sa kanila ay may masasabi’t masasabi sila sa’yo.Realization # 2:Noon akala ko nalamangan ko yung nga ka-groupmates ko dahil nakakasurvive ako ng walang naitutulong, Yun pala’y ako ang nalamanangan nila Dahil Wala manlang akong nalalaman at ngayo’y nangangapa.Lesson Learned: 1sy year palang ay mag-aral na.

Realization # 03:Mabait lang sila sa’yo kapag nakapaglabas ka na ng Yellow paper.Tandaan : Hindi sila kasama sa Budget ng magulang mo.

Realization # 04:Pag nangopya ka, Doon sa may alam. Hindi sa feeling may alam.Tandaan: Kung mali ang sagot niya, Hwag ng mag cross-finger at hilingin na mataas Score mo.

Realization 07:H’wag magparecite sa students lalo na’t hindi pa nagtuturo. (Mumurahin ka lang ng mga iyan sa Isip nila)

Realization 08:H’wag mo ng balakin magdala ng maraming gamit, Makikita mo lang yan nasa Bag na ng mga Frenny mo.

Realization 09:Iwasan ang madaming SKL(Share Ko Lang) ,Talk at Chitchat with your friends at magpagkakamalan ka lang na dating baliw.Reminder: Hindi lang ikaw ang may mala-MMK na story, Give a chance na magsalita rin ang mga frenny mo.

Realization 10:H’wag kang iiyak sa Harap ng Kaibigan mo. Dalawa lang naman magiging Reaction niyan. Either Dadamayan kang umiyak O pagtatawanan ka lang.

Realization 11 :Like sign mo’ko, Like sign kita.
Seen mo’ko, Seen kita.Reminder: Kung paano ang pakikitungo mo sa iba, Ganun rin ang magiging pakikitungo ng mga ito sa’yo.

Realization 12:H’wag turuan ang isda na umakyat ng puno lalo na’t paglangoy lang ang kakayanan nito. Help them to learn new skills in a right way and don’t force them.Realization 13:Iwasang magbigay ng advices sa Iba kung hindi kayang iapply sa sarili. Magmumukha kang nagbibida-bida.Realization 14:H’wag sasama ang Loob kung masisigawan ni Ma’am/Sir. Tao rin lang kasi sila na with Feelings. May iba’t -ibang uri ng Tao sa Pagmamahal.

May Minamahal,
Mag Nagmamahal,
May Handang masaktan para sa pagmamahal,
May handang Manloko para sa pagmamahal,
May handang isakrispisyo para sa pagmamahal,
May handang manakit para sa pagmamahal.

Pero isa lang ang tunay na depinisyon ng pagmamahal.
Dalawa man ang kalandian at karelasyon mo ngayon, Pero isa lang ang itinitibok ng puso mo. Sa pagmamahal handang kang itago ang mga bagay-bagay para lang hindi masaktan ang taong mahal mo kahit warak na warak na ang puso mo. Is your Friendship Legitimate?

Ano nga ba ang friend para sa ibang tao? There’s some people says that “Ang friends for me ay They are the people who always make me smile when I was sad.”

I conducted a survey about if they are a true friend or just a friend.

8 people said that they are a SUPER true friend and 2 people said that they are just a friend. Pero ano nga ba ang pinagkaiba ng True friend sa friend.

According to the article that I have read friend is someone who calls you rarely, visits you rarely, and has minimal contact as possible. Just “Hi,How are you?” ” I’m good, you? kind of person. While a True friend is someone, who calls often,visits occationally and keeps in touch just enough.

Sa panahon ngayon it is easy for us to say na True friend ang taong nasa paligid natin. At dahil sa inakala nating True friend sila, Di na tayo nagdadalawang isip na i-share sa kanila ang mga secrets natin.

Pero para sa akin, Ano ba ang True friends?

They are the people who taught me how to be brave, How to confront the enemies, How to love and how to be loved.

May nabasa akong kwento sa Bible na kung saan nagpapakita ng tunay na Pagmamahal ng isang kaibigan.Ang Kwentong pagkakaibigan ni Jonathan at David.

“The Story of David and Jonathan”

Jonathan,The king’s son was kind. He was a good friend to David. They make a promise to each other that whatever happened, they would always be friends
David wanted to leave the palace. He was afraid King Saul would kill him. But Jonathan did not want him to go. “My father will not hurt you,” he said. “He always tells me what he wants to do.”
But David was still afraid. He knew that he was in real danger. King Saul began to hate David. He told Jonathan to kill him. But Jonathan loved David and so he made a plan. “In a field not far from here, there is a great stone,” said Jonathan. “Go and hide behind it. In three days, I will come with my servant and shoot three arrows by its side. If I say to my servant, ‘Go and find the arrows, they are on this side of you, bring them here,’ then you will know that it is safe and there is no danger. But if I say to the boy, ‘Look the arrows are beyond you,’ then you must run away for there is great danger.”
So David hid in the field. Jonathan went to King Saul. He begged him not to kill David. King Saul did not listen. He became very angry. He threw his sword at Jonathan, but it missed him.
Jonathan ran from the palace, calling his servant. He went to the field near the great stone. Soon his arrows flew through the air. “Find the arrows,” called Jonathan. “They are beyond you!”
David heard and he was very sad. The servant found the arrows. Jonathan sent him home. Then David came out of his hiding place. He put his arms around Jonathan. Jonathan told David of his father’s plans to kill him and urged him to go far away where he would be safe. He asked David to remember that they would always be friends.
David ran away. He found a cave near the desert, where he lived for a long time.

3. A true friend protects you. Hindi yung sinabihan mo sila ng Secrets mo ,then malalaman mo na lang na sekreto ka na palang pinag-uusapan sa buong campus niyo dahil sa secrets mo na pinagkalat ng akala mong true friend.

Minsan darating rin tayo sa punto na Palalayuin tayo ng ating mga ibang kaibigan at pamilya sa ating Circle of friends because they were thinking na Bad influence, toxic, at pariwara sila. In fact, Kapag mahal mo ang kaibigan mo dapat maging ang mindset mo ay tulungan sila na magbago at magpakatao.

Life OF LGBT

Being a homosexual has never been easy. It was never a life to start with. It was never as easy as one two three…. It was never a sweet path for me and for us who belong in the LGBT community. It was bitter sweet for me and for other homosexual as well.

Nowadays Same gender have a relationship.

Here in the Philippines LGBT was really accepted. But For the Bishops same sex marriage is not acceptable. I try to Interview some persons about what is life of being LGBT. I start to interview with Rommel mandingiado , The one who belongs in the LGBT community I ask him if what his life and what he feels of being a gay

“Luckily ,I was Accepted ,Love and embraced by my family .I am very much confident with the love that they are giving and I know that their love has lead me to the right way and perfect path. Their love has also empowered and equipped me towards facing all the problems that a typical and regular homosexual faces in his everyday life as a student, As a teenager and as a citizen . although I was accepted ,I still feel the feeling of emptiness inside . it is as if my heart looks or is looking for something that I need to find and I think that serves as my living purpose in this world .I know that my life centers or have centered towards finding that missing puzzle piece of my life …. That is the main relevance of my life existence in this world and in this society .I know that through my drives and motives and with the love of my family, no matter how awful the journey of life is .I will always have my best driving force and support system and that’s my family and their love. “ Rommel says.

And now I just want to share my Story if what is my life as belong as part of the LGBT community..

I started my 1^st year High School at a new school (Mayamot National High School).There were more students, each subject matter was taught by a different teacher At some point, I began to notice certain classmates more than others. . I would catch myself looking at them for longer periods of time. The exact reason escapes me at the moment, but I recall noticing a few of my guy classmates and thinking ‘wow he looks very interesting’. I did not quite know what I found interesting, but there were just many guys in my class that I wanted to get to know a bit better. As I found myself checking out guys in my class, I had several friends that started talking about girlfriends and dating and trying to impress so-and-so. Beyond that, the guys that I had started checking out had also started to talk about all the weird things they were going to try to get girls to like them. . I found myself going to various football related websites to check out photos. I remember that I feeling ashamed about what I was doing and started to save files onto my USB and Memory Card and hide them throughout the house. I would include a few files that looked innocent enough and change the file extension of the images of guy or wen wearing underwear and larger bodied men.’ images so that nobody could open them easily. I then started finding websites containing images with football players/actors modeling underwear, and after a bunch of random website visiting, came to find various web portals for gay men interested in larger bodied men And I Felt inlove with the guy and I have a lots of crushes. And now I discovered that Im a bisexual. And that is my Story as belong in the LGBT.And im so proud and confident about it. And I fall in Love with someone that i know never Love me back .It Hurts but i have no rights to command him . My Family accept me completely.This is me, This real , This is the gender that i chose and im not regret about it:)

Life Of Service Crew

Its not easy to be a service crew while you are studying . In short  it is so hard to be a working student.

I tried to have a interview with other service crew if what their experiences as a service crew in mcdonalds. “Being a  service crew is very important I am not just a service crew but an IT student too. It helps me a lot so that I  can study. Do we got tired on working? Of course YES, we get tired everyday yet we are happy to serve and communicate to other people by our hearts. We call it MAGIC MOMENT . But  for me, Magic moment isn’t just for the customer. I really appreciate that moment by communicating or talking to such adorable customers that we faced everyday”. Llynette said.

While Michelle Wood,One of my crewmate on mcdonalds Share his Life as a service crew also “ “Being a  service crew for two years in a fast food chain like Mcdonald’s there’s a lot of things that I have  encountered  .I learned to be a leader with my other crew members because sometimes Im the most ahead on our shift, I was given a responsibility  to discipline them what they should do to have a beautiful shift .I learned how   to communicate with my co workers so we can give our customers a satisfaction and give them a heart felt experience that will convince them to visit our store  again and endorse us with their friends. You should be alert and observant with your customer so you can approach to them in the most comfortable way that will make them feel welcome and valued. You should be flexible because there’s a possibility that they will assign you on the other stations because they know what your capable of. I was also given a chance to meet a new friends and a second family that will support me and encourage me to be successful to whatever I will encounter .and to learn more with there experience that I can share with my new co-workers.its a really hard at first but you will enjoy and love it. “ She says.

What is the life of service crew? Now I wan’t you to know if what is my life in mcdonalds. Okay I am a teenager aged 17 that is currently a crew member at Mcdonalds here in Antipolo branch . I know that everyone is automatically think…”Oh my god, what a loser”…Well first of all it’s just a part-time job and I do intend on going to finish my studies and my dream is to become an educators , so please don’t discriminate and please read my story.
Well it all started when I was enjoying my first  and my neighbor who is one of the manager in mcdonalds asking me if I want to apply for a job at Mcdonalds because their restaurant was need a crew. And my friend and I both applied and were quickly hired.

That day was a blast! I am really happy that finally I am able to earn a living and will have a extra income that helps me to finish my study. On that point I also realized that before you can work in McDonald’s you must first enter in the hole of a needle. It was have  a long process. I always thought that working with this kind of job (service crew) is just simple. That everytime I go to a fast-food restaurant I always think that what they are doing is so easy to do and anyone can have that job whenever they want to. But I was really wrong. When I started in the first week, I almost gave up. There are so many customers and I was like, “Oh my God! When could we have only few customers? ” I really realized that this job is not just a simple job. But I get to love this job then. It was 100% fun here! And especially when I got to be working in the kitchen. we were trained at a different location for a whole month. We were sent to the best McDonalds in our city. We were taught the grill(cooking food and making it), team service(how to communicate, register, dealing with costumers) and LSM who the one who in charge in any celebration have in our store like Party Celebration , funday . I am the one  who hosting a party and im so happy  because I know that it helps me to enhance my confidence ,capability and I learned to faced to the others. My friend and I loved training because we only worked 3 hour days and were working with one of the best management teams McDonalds has ever put together. It was really fun for us and we loved it.

Free Meals for the Employee

We have a free meals and we have a lots of benefits in mcdonalds. I am the one who always assign in Chicken Expert and Prepping and sometimes in batch grill or in LSM or also known MRM(Party hosting or the one who in charge in any kind of celebration in mcdonalds) I want to be a drive thru or counter crew. But because we have a lacks of crew production they are unable to train me into counter.

I got that All information when i had a orrientation with Ma’am Rachell Baniaga who is one of my manager on Mcdonald’s. Mcdonald’s is one of the most famous fast food Restaurant not just here at the Philippines but all over the world because of their popular and palatable foods that makes the customers happy.

I had a interview with my manager if what is the best seller product in our branch and she answered me.

One of the best seller at mcdonalds is the so called “best tasting Chicken mcdo .” it is a heavy meal in a cheap  price .for only 79 pesos .you can have  CHICKEN MCDO with rice and a regular drink. But aside from it is affordable price ,it has a savory flavor that every Filipino love. Chicken mcdo crispinnes and balanced taste is one of it’s asset ,Ms marga Say.s While according to Ms.Pacayra Marilyn that  Chicken mcdo is one of the best seller in mcdo because it has a taste of delightfulness that makes the customer feel happy. I have a Short conversation with Ms.Lara Lei Santos,my 4^th year educator and adviser. I asked her if what is her favorite in mcdonalds and she replied me that She loves fries without salt and nuggets because of it’s crispiness ,mcdo’s fries is the best because it’s not that oily. But For Airalyn Lopez ,The student who studies at OLFU The best product of Mcdonalds is Chicken Fillet ala king. “For me I want most is Chicken fillet Ala king because of it’s good taste and also the price of it is so affordable . While For Barrameda  Sunshine of BTTE 1-G major in English ,Her  favorite product in mcdo is sundae have a chocolate flavor because she want the taste of it and also it is more chocolaty than the other ice cream  and it is also affordable and delicious.the Reason of being best seller of the products is the quality of every ingredients  these are the facts about the food in mcdonalds.

Mcdonalds burger are made from 100% pure beef without additives preservatives or flavor enhance . Burgers is one of the best seller and popular product of mcdonalds because of it taste and quality.

And also the fries  and hashbrown have a perfect texture because they only use carefully approved varieties of potatoes that are mealy inside and crisp outside .to keep the fresh flavor    and maintain their best nutrients , They are using a unique process to quickly freeze them.
